    在操作模式里面，分为两种：低要求模式；高要求或连续操作模式。没有中要求。SIS系统高要求模式和连续模式，SIS系统标准中对操作模式的定义

    low demand mode: where the safety function is only performed on demand, in order to transfer the EUC（Equipment Under Control） into a specified safe state, and where the frequency of demands is no greater than one per year; or NOTE The E/E/PE safety-related system that performs the safety function normally has no influence on the EUC or EUC control system until a demand arises. 对SIS系统操作模式的理解

    这里的分界线是要求频率，小于1为低要求，大于1为高要求。即按要求产生的频率可分为：低要求模式(≤1次/年)和高要求或连续模式(＞1次/年)。也就是安全功能的执行频率。换句话说：低要求-安全相关系统的操作需求间隔大于验证测试间隔两倍的模式；高要求-在安全相关系统上执行的操作的需求间隔小于诊断检测/反应间隔的100倍或安全状态属于正常操作的一部分的模式。
